What your certificate means, and how to prove it.
We would rather you understand exactly what you receive than read a vague promise. Here is what ADIVAS issues, what you must complete, and how anyone can check it.
- Issuer
- ADIVAS School of Future Technologies, Madurai
- Credential
- Institute course certificate (PDF), one per programme
- Verification
- A unique code, checked on the public verification page
- Recognition
- Not externally accredited; not a vendor or government qualification
What you must complete
- Course weeks: every week of the course marked complete.
- Graded quizzes: every published graded quiz for the course passed. A course must have at least one graded quiz before any certificate can be issued.
- Attendance: at least 75% where classes are recorded for your batch.
- Portfolio Project: required for courses with a published certification policy. Those policies are under academic review, so certificates for those courses are on hold until the review is complete.
A trainer or administrator can record an exception for missed weeks or attendance only with a written reason, which is stored with the certificate and logged. Quiz and policy requirements cannot be waived.
What the verification page confirms
Entering a certificate code shows that the named learner completed the named course, the issue date, and that the certificate has not been revoked. For school learners only the first name and last initial are shown. It does not confirm marks, grades or job readiness.
Skill Passport
Your Skill Passport records each skill of a course at one of four levels, based on what you actually did:
- Explored: you completed the weeks that teach it.
- Practising: you submitted work for it.
- Proficient: a trainer accepted that work.
- Proven: proficient, and you hold the course certificate.
It is private by default. You can create up to three share links (90 days by default), hide your name, and revoke a link at any time. It is an internal record, not an external credential.
Curriculum review status
Every ADIVAS course outline is currently a draft under academic review, and each course page says so. Review does not stop you enrolling or learning: a counsellor confirms what the current batch covers before you join.
When a course is approved for delivery, its page will show the approval and the date of its next scheduled review.
Questions
- Is the ADIVAS certificate an external qualification?
- No. It is an institute certificate issued by ADIVAS School of Future Technologies. It is not a university degree, a government qualification or a software vendor certification.
- How can an employer check my certificate?
- Each certificate has a code. Anyone can enter it on the ADIVAS verification page, which confirms the learner, the course, the issue date and whether the certificate is still valid.
- Is the Skill Passport the same as a certificate?
- No. The Skill Passport records your progress in each skill of a course as you learn. A certificate is issued once, at the end, when the course requirements are met.
